The woman who wrote the award-winning song, “We Shall Behold Him,” is now in His presence in heaven. Dottie Rambo died in a bus accident on Sunday morning in Missouri.
She was an amazing songwriter who loved God with her whole heart. In her 74 years she wrote over 2,000 songs, including “He Looked Beyond My Faults,” “I Go to the Rock,” and “If That Isn’t Love.”
Her friends and family will miss her, but her songs will live on.

Thanks for passing this on. I loved Down by the Creek Bank when I was a kid.

Dottie Rambo was such an anointed lady. I do not say that lightly. There are not very many singers that have the anointing, but she had the Power of God in her life. You could feel it when she sang and could see it in her. I am so saddened by her death, but I know where her final destination is. She probably danced and sang on her entrance into heaven, what a witness for Christ……
